
Carole previously worked in a number of youth and community facing roles offering informal education, empowering people to make informed life choices, motivating and supporting them to change existing behaviours through education, coaching, support and guidance. This included young offenders, drug and alcohol users, the unemployed, those in debt and homeless. She believes those affected often know the changes they need to make; they just need the tools, guidance and encouragement to take action.
After a career break from the Health Service, Carole trained as a Healthy Walks leader. Leading groups of people with little or no physical activity in their daily lives on walks around their local area/parks to encourage a more active healthy lifestyle. Loving the great outdoors, London and not being chained to a desk, Carole decided to take this career change further and took the plunge to train as a Personal Trainer.
Carole trained with YMCAfit and is now a Level 3 Personal Trainer and running coach. She is the founder/owner of popular Coffee Run Hackney and trains with her clients in Hackney parks through summer and winter alike! Carole teaches our Meno-Strength sessions and she has also undergone additional Pilates matwork training with Body Control Pilates. Carole herself is a keen marathon runner and more recently a cold water swimming aficionado!
